Neon Knights was a group project I worked on with some friends for coursework in 2019. This game/ project was unfortunately never finished however I still contributed quite a lot to this project for the games assets and graphic design.
The game itself was to be a 3D hack and slash action game, the core of the gameplay was simply 3rd person combat against waves of enemies/ an arcade format. Neon Knights idea was extremely simple in gameplay however in development was much more complex. The majority of the work was for the games assets for characters, props, buildings, foliage, weapons, UI & Menus. Out of the 4 of us working on this project, 3 of us were all working on assets and 1 person on the games programming.
My role in this project was to design and create the player's character and enemies, as well as the logo and graphic design for the menus. In addition to this I also helped make 2 environment assets ( a church and a windmill). The art style we decided on was to be low poly/ toon style. With soft colours and giving everything a neon trim in a medieval fantasy setting.
